All ABCChem 2026 attendees, including invited and contributing speakers, must register in order to attend the scientific sessions and Conference events. The registration fee includes access to the following events during the conference:
Registration fees do not include any meals (other than reception food at the opening reception), travel expenses, or housing/hotel accommodation fees.
Registration deadlines are at 23:59 BRT (UTC-03:00).

ABCChem is excited to offer special meeting registration discounts to members residing in countries with emerging economies. This initiative aims to expand access to the benefits of attending ABCChem to the global scientific community. Registration discount categories follow the ACS Emerging Economies Special Pricing for membership dues.
To verify if the country you reside in qualifies for one of these discounts, please check the ACS Emerging Economies pricing categories. Note that the special pricing is applicable to Category I and Category II countries only. Please email abcchemmail@acs.org for more information.
Member fees are available for members of the Organizing Societies : ACS, CSC, EuChemS, FLAQ, FASC, SBQ, SQM, SACI, and Official Participating Organizations.
Note that when a person registers as a member, their information is shared with the organization to validate membership. If membership cannot be validated, the registrant’s registration category will be changed to “non-member” and the non-member fee will be charged.
The Member Fee is only for those who have a Premium ACS Membership Package.
Student registration fees are available to full-time students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. Post-doctoral fellows are not students.
Accompanying Persons are spouses or other family members who wish to attend the Welcome Reception. Accompanying people can only be registered in conjunction with a full registration.
Anyone who wants to attend the technical sessions must purchase a full (member, non-member, or student) registration.
Children who are 16 years or younger do not need to register if accompanied by a Congress-registered adult.
All scheduled presenters must register in order to present their paper (oral and poster presentation). Invited presenters may contact the symposium organizer to determine if the registration fee is being paid for by the symposium. Presenters must register by 25 September, Brazil Standard Time (GMT-3) or they will be removed from the program.
Registration fees are processed by the American Chemical Society (ACS) in Washington, DC, USA. Fees can be paid via major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or wire/bank transfer. Registration is not confirmed until payment has been received. wire/bank transfer information is included in the registration form. Payments made via credit card will be processed right away during the registration process, and registration will be confirmed. Payments made via wire/bank transfer must be received within 30 days of the submission of the registration request and no later than 1 December 2026, 23:59 BRT (UTC-03:00) or the registration request will be cancelled. Anyone registering after 20 November must pay by credit card.
If there is more than one person who would like to use the same form of payment for registration, a group registration may be summitted. When completing the registration form there is an option to “add group member.”
Registrants may cancel their registration for ABCChem by emailing abcchemmail@acs.org . If the cancellation request is received by 25 September 2026, registrants will be refunded the registration fee less a $50 administration fee. No refunds will be given for cancelations received after 25 September 2026. Any refunds due will be completed by 15 December 2026 to the same form of payment used for registering.
